Zeligsoft Appoints Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Deep SCA market expertise strengthens executive team
Gatineau, QC, January 24, 2005 — Zeligsoft, a leading vendor of tools which enable the design, deployment and configuration of component-based software, today announced the appointment of Kamal Krishnapillai as Vice President, Sales and Marketing. Kamal is responsible for building customer intimacy, creating market leadership, leading worldwide field sales operations, and managing channel partnerships.
Kamal brings 20 years of sales, marketing, business development and management experience to Zeligsoft. "Kamal's appointment strengthens the Zeligsoft executive team and demonstrates our commitment to building strategic relationships with our customers and partners. Prior to joining Zeligsoft Kamal was with the defense systems firm ICS Ltd., where he built sales and marketing teams and grew sales over 100% in four years and developed ICS' Software Defined Radio (SDR) market. ICS became a SDR leader in three years leading to its acquisition by Radstone Technology PLC (UK). Prior to ICS, Kamal was with QNX Software Ltd, an embedded software firm. Kamal holds an Executive MBA from University of Ottawa. He is also the vice chair of the Ottawa Wireless Cluster.
