Standards and Specifications

Standards for component models and transports play a key role in the embedded software development ecosystem. They are crucial for software portability, reuse and component interoperability as they alleviate the need for custom engineered application programming interfaces (APIs).

Zeligsoft's Component-Oriented Engineering methodology enables engineering teams to leverage the popular (and essential) standards and specifications developed for component-based software engineering.

Zeligsoft CX  is open and extensible environment; it can be readily adapted to support additional component architectures and middleware.

Zeligsoft plans to offer a domain for the CORBA Component Model (CCM), a specification describing a standard application framework for CORBA components.

Zeligsoft will also offer a domain for the OMG's MARTE (Modeling and Analysis of Real-time and Embedded Systems), a specification that adds capabilities to UML for model-based descriptions of real-time and embedded systems.

Zeligsoft also provides tooling for Software Communications Architecture (SCA)-compliant Software Defined Radios through the leading Zeligsoft CE tool suite.

In addition, Zeligsoft is poised to support additional component frameworks such as the Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR), an open and standardized automotive software architecture.
