Session:
Our Principal Field Application Engineer, Mark Hermeling will be co-presenting a paper with Murat Bicer of Mercury Computer Systems titled “Developing JTRS/SCA Compliant Software for Specialized Hardware Processors — A Case Study”. This session details Mercury’s and Zeligsoft’s work with the SCA Change Proposal 289 and the Component Portability Specification, two methods that allow for low-overhead communication within and between specialized processors, such as DSPs and FPGAs, working in SCA-compliant Software Defined Radios.

Live Demonstrations:
At our booth (#906) we’ll be demonstrating component portability with code generation for DSPs and FPGAs. Zeligsoft’s code generation makes the specifics of each processor class transparent to the waveform developer and turns FPGAs and DSPs into first class citizens in the SCA-based SDR environment.
