Founded in 1987, I-Logix, now Telelogic's systems and software modeling division, is the worldwide leading provider of collaborative Model-Driven Development (MDD) solutions for systems design through software development focused on real-time embedded applications. The integrated workflow allows CE to serve as the SCA backbone tool, validating for SCA compliance, contributing domain-specific artifacts, and providing SCA deployment observation. Rhapsody is used for high-level systems modeling (for example the DoDAF - Department of Defense Architecture Framework), and the implementation of non-SCA artifacts.
