This CF is pre-integrated with Zeligsoft CE™, and other OE elements, for a complete COTS tool suite running on a developer’s desktop.

Software is developed on host with a true Core Framework so that risks associated with SCA conformance and functional implementations are significantly reduced. By integrating early and executing often, you can demonstrate proof-of-progress, gain understanding of your system, and fine-tune your radio architecture.

Closing the development loop
With the SDR Development Suite, monitoring of the live system is done within the same environment as the design. Developers don’t need to move between unconnected tools for design and testing. Zeligsoft’s SDR Development Suite provides for a complete environment for design, execution, control, monitoring, testing and debugging of SCA applications. Migrating to the Embedded Target
With your SCA components already tested and debugged on a host-based SCA compliant radio OE, migrating to the embedded target can be accomplished cost effectively, and with low risk. You can take CE with you as you move to any CF, ORB, and RTOS chosen for the embedded target. CE will validate all system models and descriptor files for continued SCA compliance. You will also continue to use CE to control and monitoring your SCA system on the embedded platform.

Fast-track SCA development
In order to assemble a development environment for SCA-compliant SDR, developers need to spend up-front time and effort analyzing and integrating Operating Environment (OE) elements such as the SCA Core Framework (CF), CORBA Object Request Broker (ORB), real-time operating system (RTOS) and hardware. Instead of performing this analysis and integration task immediately, most development teams will benefit more by beginning their prototyping, and test deploying their radio so that they can better address architectural elements, and become more familiar with the SCA.
