SDR/SCA Tool Chain Integration
At the core of Zeligsoft’s philosophy is the belief that no one in the Software Defined Radio space can deliver the entire solution and that for project success, you need to use the right tool for each job.
Our customers have a set of favorite development tools they’ve incorporated into their development processes. Like our customers, you too have invested significantly in configuration management, implementation and signal processing tools. Your engineers have experience with these tools, you hold licenses, and these tools are integrated into your development process.
Zeligsoft CE™ supports SCA Tool Chain Integration — integration with other best-in-class tools so that you:
Protect your investment in tools
Maintain your tried and true processes
Use the right tool for each job — no compromises
Configuration management integration
SCA Tool Chain Integration means that CE integrates with configuration management tools so that all project team members can work together on the model simultaneously. Model elements can be checked in and out just like any other software artifact in the system. CE provides out-of-the-box integration with Rational ClearCase, and can be readily integrated with CVS and other configuration management systems.
System modeling and component implementation tools
SCA Tool Chain Integration means that CE integrates with other UML-based software modeling and development tools. SCA component code and functional component code can be developed in tandem using Zeligsoft CE, Zeligsoft Code Generator, plus an implementation tool such as Eclipse, Telelogic Rhapsody or MathWorks Simulink. CE compiles and links all artifacts into one component executable that can be deployed. Read the Application Note detailing how CE integrates with I-Logix Rhapsody for rapid implementation of SCA compliant components for more details.
Design Process and Tools Work Group
Zeligsoft is actively involved in the Design Process and Tools Work Group, a group within the SDR Forum's Technical Committee. The Design Process and Tools Work Group's objective is to improve the productivity and quality in the development and deployment of software defined radio technology through enhancement of the tools used by the industry.
