SDR - Software Defined Radio: Reduce Risk with Zeligsoft

SCA Waveform Porting

SCA waveforms are designed to run on multiple SCA-capable platforms. As part of their projects, JTRS primes are porting, executing and testing their waveforms on a set of requisite platforms, such as a group of maritime, vehicular, and handheld radios.

Zeligsoft Tools
With the radio platform modeled in Zeligsoft CE™, developers can validate the deployment of an existing SCA waveform running on a new SCA platform in minutes. Any architectural violations of the SCA standard are caught immediately. Zeligsoft CE’s deployment modeling feature aids developers in understanding how that particular radio configuration could be deployed in the field, for example, which components comprising the SCA waveform are deployed to which physical resources contained within the radio. Deployment modeling and analysis assists developers in assuring an optimal deployment in the field. Zeligsoft’s Code Generator can quickly generate SCA component code for the new radio platform’s operating environment without any impact to the functional logic code. Developers write code once, and generate multiple component implementations using the same model and code base.
